TIME TO COMPLETE ORDER/NOTICE:

Cake orders need to be decided on and placed 2 weeks in advance of the date you wish to have them ready for. Please feel free to ask to place orders with shorter notice, as I may be able to oblige depending on the date, amounts and type of cake/cakes required. There may be an additional late notice fee of £5 if the time given is less than 4 days and I can fit your order in.

CAKE STORAGE:

All cakes should be kept in an airtight container and kept out of sunlight.

Cupcakes and layer cakes decorated or filled with buttercream frosting can be stored at room temperature for up to 2-3 days. If it is warm they should be refrigerated. Cupcakes and Layer cakes kept in the fridge should last 3-4 days. If kept in the fridge please allow 30 minutes for cupcakes to come to room temperature and 1-2 hours for layer cakes (depending on size and warmth of room).

Cakes decorated or filled with chocolate ganache can be stored at room temperature for 2 days and then they must be refrigerated. Remove them from the fridge and bring to room temperature before serving.

Cakes decorated or filled with fresh cream (chantilly cream) must be stored in the fridge and it is recommended that they be eaten within 24 hours. Remove them from the fridge and bring to room temperature before serving.

Cupcakes with a custard filling should also be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

For maximum enjoyment in taste and moistness it is recommended that cakes be eaten at room temperature on the day of purchase.

Brownies should be kept in an airtight container at room temperature and are best eaten within 1-2 days, however they will last up to 4 days and can be freshened up by blasting them in the microwave for 20 seconds...very tasty with the addition of fresh cream as a dessert!!
